Soda, but better Poppi Campaign
To highlight the Strawberry Lemon flavor of the Poppi drink brand, I created a campaign focused on the “soda, but better” tagline. I started the campaign by creating a product video, using dynamic shots to promote the beverage. I then took the beverage into the photo studio, where I got various product shots of the strawberry lemon flavor to turn into digital signage and ads, experimenting with AI.
Poppi’s brand is known for using bright colors and bold color combinations, so I wanted to take my simple product shots and turn them into bold, dynamic ads. To start my AI process, I had the idea to have the soda swirling around the can. I found an image online of a water splash similar to what I was wanting, and created a style reference with my product shot in Photoshop. Using Adobe Firefly, I uploaded the style reference and prompted it a few times before getting what I was looking for.
Using Photoshop, I applied my product shot of the Poppi can on top of the AI generated image, layering them to give the shot dimension. I added the “soda, but better” slogan and some more graphic elements, and ended up with an eye catching advertisement with much more dimension than the original product shot.
